On 6 November 1729, William Simpson mortgaged a 200-acre tract called Mount Pleasant to Mark Manlove and John Hall, trustees of the General Loan Office, for ten pounds in bills of credit.
The mortgage is a strong Mispillion Hundred land record and also continues the Manlove association seen in earlier records.
