A recorded copy of Luke Manlove’s will names William Simson as one of the witnesses, along with Rachel Manlove and Mark Manlove.

The source is important because it places a William Simson in the Walker-Manlove legal circle soon after the boy bound to John Walker in 1699 would have reached age twenty-one. Because the surviving item is a recorded copy, it should not be treated as strong handwriting or mark-comparison evidence.
